While a striking red dress might be intimidating for some and a little too close to the flamenco dancer emoji for others, it looks
like Cobie Smulders doesn't fall into either of those categories. The actress opted for the color during her promo tour of the "Jack Reacher" sequel, and honestly, the prayer hands emoji would work great right about now.
Smulders wore a crimson-and-black printed cotton eyelet dress from Prabal Gurung's resort 2017 collection and we have to say, she looks good. The wide, black, grosgrain straps and waistband offer a graphic element to the tiered silhouette, and the textured fabric added an interesting element to the print. Let's also take a moment to appreciate the beauty look happening here. Matchy-matchy makeup has long been considered a faux pas, but Smulders successfully debunked that myth by sporting a bold, red lip and little else (by red carpet makeup standards, anyway), ensuring that her lipstick takes centerstage... er, face. Anyway, we think our point has been made: Cobie Smulders is red hot. That is all.
