Burberry definitely shook things up with its "see now, buy now" runway show on Monday. But we can always count on the British brand to deliver some seriously pretty makeup on its catwalks. And this season — fall 2016, September 2016, whatever you want to call it — was no exception.
Models were the personification of English roses with skin that was kept fresh and natural thanks to a dose of the brand's Fresh Glow highlighting pen along with contour powder for a naturally chiseled look. "The runway look is all about antique, authentic tones and naturally defining the face with subtle highlights and sculpting," said Burberry Makeup Artistic Consultant, Wendy Rowe, in a statement. She used various neutral shades to create depth and definition on eyes.
On lips, models wore Liquid Lip Velvet, a forthcoming matte liquid lipstick in the prettiest pink shade and a new nude shade of their Full Kisses lipstick. And just like the clothes on the runway, both beauty products became available for purchase immediately after the show. So if a $6,500 jacket is slightly out of your price range, feel free to get in on the London Fashion Week action with the prettiest pink lip ever.
