How to Fix a Broken Nail at Home

If you've got relatively long nails, like I do, you've inevitably been there: A random bump or bend or pinch, and suddenly — NOOOO!!! — your once-glorious talon has suffered a break.

Sometimes, it's a clean break that chops the tip of your nail right off. But often, it's more of a crack — just taunting you with the fact that yes, your nail is still technically there... but not for long!!! MWAHAHAHAHA. (Those split nails are nothing short of demonic.)
So I was a little elated to find this tutorial on YouTube, by Julia Graf, showing a ridiculously easy way to fix a broken nail, no professional manicure needed. The entire process takes just a few minutes, using a couple of materials you probably already have at home. And wait 'til you hear what it involves: Drugstore nail glue, some scissors, and... a TEA BAG! Brilliant.
