After casting Winona Ryder as one of the many famous faces in his fall 2015 campaign, Marc Jacobs has brought the actress back — and into softer focus — for his latest Marc Jacobs Beauty ads.
aThe designer released the first image from the shoot, styled by Katie Grand and photographed by David Sims, on his Instagram on Monday night. If you can find anything bad to say about it, please comment below. Because between the '60s-esque cat-eye liner, sparkling green nail polish and luxurious, cinematic lighting, we don't see a single fault here.
As Jacobs explains in a long but remarkably informative caption (he's good like that), the campaign took notes from "Last Year at Marienbad," a French drama from 1962 and a personal favorite of his.
#4everwinona indeed. This is one drawn-out Katie Grand campaign release that we really can't wait to see the rest of.
