Madewell to Reprise Its Collaboration With Sézane Just in Time for Bastille Day

Camille Rowe for Madewell.

Last fall, perennial cool-girl retail chain Madewell partnered up with French label Sézane — which has a similarly hip cult following — on a 14-piece collaboration that perfectly captured the particular brand of French insouciance that so many fashion lovers are fond of.
The line was so successful that they decided to join forces again, and this time, the collection hits stores just in time for Bastille Day — well, technically the day after.
On Wednesday, July 15, Madewell will debut its second collab with Sézane, which features two limited-edition striped tees, on which each brand proclaims its love for its hometown — one for New York and one for Paris (seen above). The 18-piece collection also includes romantic, French-inspired pieces made from lace, silk and, of course, more stripes; as well as accessories like handbags and sneakers. All together, the collection is mean to encapsulate the best of both cities. Prices will range from $58 -$238, and the pieces are designed to carry shoppers through the summer and well into fall.
