6 Crazy Facts You Never Knew About Vogue

Happy birthday, Vogue! The magazine is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. In honor of the major milestone, Vogue has shared some fun facts you never knew about the glossy—fashion girls, consider taking notes!

For starters, there's one model who has appeared on the cover a whopping 26 times—an all-time record. That would be none other than Lauren Hutton, who is also "the only model to have appeared on covers for both Diana Vreeland and Anna Wintour," according to the magazine's press release.
The glossy also revealed that it has only had seven editors in the entire 125-year span. (Pop quiz: Can you name all of them?) While Anna Wintour's 29-year reign is impressive, Edna Woolman Chase held the position for the longest period: 37 years.
Going way back to the beginning, the first Vogue cover was illustrated by A.B. Wenzel and was published on December 17, 1892. The cost? A mere ten cents. Things have certainly changed in the last 125 years!
